Here are some prompts that may help jump start the RP'ing. Note that some of the prompts are specific to canon, but you can use both canon characters and OC's if you wish; AU's are welcome. Other prompts are written vaguely, because it can apply to any era, because the Hogwarts experience and children will always be the same. Remember, history can repeat itself.

1. Post-war reconstruction (rebuilding and rewarding of Hogwarts, amending the legislature of the Ministry, etc.)
2. Third Wizarding War (perhaps in conjunction with a Muggle World War III)
3. Time travel to the future or past using spells, potions, runes, stolen time turners, etc.
4. Alternate universe (prefer for this to be strictly canon characters, because it can get confusing otherwise)
5. Discovering you have magic
6. Getting your Hogwarts letter
7. Going to Ollivanders or whatever wandmaker in Diagon Alley and getting your wand
8. On the Hogwarts Express
9. Sorting ceremony, welcome back speech, and feast
10. Apprentice/mentor
11. Interviewing with the Headmaster to get your job
12. Discovering you have magic
13. Realizing you were Obliviated and trying to recall those memories
14. Coming across the Room of Requirement or Chamber of Secrets
15. Trip to Hogsmeade
16. Detention with a professor
17. Party in the Common Room
18. Triwizard Tournament
19. Future or past time travel using stolen Time Turner, runes, potions, etc.
20. Staging an Azkaban breakout/Ministry infiltration
21. Conjuring a Patronus for the first time
22. Encountering a Dementor for the first time
23. Overcoming your Boggart
24. Taking the steps to become an Animagus
25. Forming secret societies in Hogwarts (for any subject or cause)
26. Inter-house prank wars
27. Midnight duel and getting caught by the caretaker
