Seriously can't wait for Archetypes as a full-length novel, including everything in its universe. There are so many characters and subplots...

Pretty much yeah, Annwn is a huge beotch THANK YOUUU you don't know how much that means to me  This is the only place I put anything related to Archetypes (well, you know, where people can see it). Not even my family knows anything about it. XD (haha yeah there are so many subplots--the one I just explained to you is one of, like, fifty) |

Oh, you know me, proud friend and all  It's hard for writers, especially teenaged writers, to get the motivation to bring their ideas to fruition. I'm no less guilty lol. But I do have an idea for a major story which I've been mulling over for YEARS. It has to do with what my dreams chronicle. Yeah, it's strange that I have an ongoing, mostly chronological story in my subconscience. But hey, whatever works, right? You should tell your dad at the very least. He seems like he'd appreciate your writing ideas. |

Dude I totally know what you mean. When I was younger I would have these epic sagas playing in my head that spanned, like, years. I don't do that so much now, since I write most things down, but I still have to visualize a scene mentally before I write it.
My dad is kind of like your mom I think. He can't appreciate fiction. But he can appreciate the actual writing part of it, so he would be good at editing. But as far as actual story, nobody in my family would understand that XD
I imagine showing the rents Archetypes would go over like this:
"Oh God...this Daedarus is a real bastard."
"I KNOW ISN'T HE PERF?!"
Best place to find writing contests is by googling them XD You'll get tons of hits.

I feel ya. I think as you get older, you lose that sense of imagination, unless your career requires it or you're naturally a capricious sort of person.
And I'm laughing so hard right now my sides are hurting. They would fail to understand the literary perfection that is Daedarus Cain, because all they see is his surface sadistic nature and I can't. It was genuinely my initial reaction, as well. XD
I saw that twisted disposition of his when I read that bit with him and Elie. *Shivers* I think I started to "get him" with that interaction between Dae and Basil.
